SURABHI THEATER'S "MAYABAZAR" Back to past Events

Much awaited and Jointly hosted SURABHI MAYA BAZAR mega event is few days away. We had a great TORI LIVE radio event and interacted with Jayanand garu on SURABHI history and the current state. Thanks Jayanand garu for his time. We all are eager to see SURABHI artists classical verse play performances adorned with colorful illusionary backgrounds, huge sets, Colorful Costumes, props and trick scenes.

Lets get the year 2021 started with a bang. Lets pave the way for coming out of the dreadful pandemic gloom.

And on top of this, we have TANIKELLA BHARANI garu a well known writer and movie actor as a guest of honor for the event. Very few people know that, he acted in SURABHI dramas before and has close association with SURABHI. We thank Bharani garu for his time. We are excited to listen and watch his interview.

This event is to entertain the spectators familiar with SURABHI and introduce our rich cultural heritage to younger generation and also to support about 60 families who dedicated their lives to drama and depend on stage shows. They need us now more than ever, as the artists are facing hardships due to non-availability of work during the pandemic.

Please support 135 years history of Surabhi drama theater and protect traditional theater to survive.
